The official live Coil album Live Four is a compilation of soundboard recordings of this show and the following show (2002-10-29 Flex, Vienna, AT), the last two of the "Live Four" live phase. I've spoken to Thighpaulsandra personally about it and he says the reason for the compilation is because the Palac Akropolis show was quite hit-and-miss in the band's eyes. To create a truly stellar recording, they took elements from both shows, mostly the Flex show.
Songs from these two recordings were all edited in different ways in order to fit onto a standard 80-minute CD release. Audience recordings of both shows exist but are incomplete in their own respects.
At one point during “I Am Angie Bowie (Sine Waves),” John says the lines, “I cannot hear myself in the monitiors, Andy, no! / I cannot hear myself in the monitors, no!” This is only heard on the audience recording, however. It seems these lines were edited out on every official release. On Live Four, to mask the transition from the Palac show to the Flex show, they edited in a lot of audience applause between "I Am Angie Bowie" and "The Last Rites of Spring." Funnily enough, you can start to hear the Palac version of the latter song start just before the applause begins and they start the Flex portion of the album.
